at the library

Ok, this story is a little late getting posted, as I totally forgot to write it upon Wednesday, but thought it's still worth sharing. On Wednesday we went to the library, we were going to do book babies, but when we got their one of the librarians who sometimes leads book babies was behind the information desk where we pick up the tickets for book babies. Hannah started talking to Miss Elizabeth and being a typical two year was bouncing and wondering around while talking to her. Miss Elizabeth said I can't hear you unless you face me, at that point Hannah wondered off, or that's what we thought she was doing as she started to walk away, but she didn't, she was just walking to go behind the desk right next to Miss Elizabeth and then continued the conversation from there. Soon it was time for book babies to start and I asked her if she wanted to go and she said no, and that she wanted to stay and talk to Miss Elizabeth. So that's what she did, and then Miss Elizabeth had to go pull books off the self that had been requested and asked Hannah if she wanted to help. Hannah agreed and helped by pushing the cart around and taking the books Miss Elizabeth gave her and putting them into the cart. It was very cute and Hannah did very well. Several times we asked Hannah if she was done helping, but she said no every time and continued to follow Miss Elizabeth and help her. She did a great job and helped until all the books on the list were retrieved, which took almost an hour.
