diapers no more

Evie has decided she really, really, really doesn't like to poop in diapers (she actually started deciding this in Austin). This is great! The only problem was most of her pooping has occurred at nap time or first thing in the morning. Which resulted in removal of clothes and diaper and poop every where. Solution, we switched her to a toddler bed and put a potty in her room. She slept great last night and when she woke up and took all her clothes off in the morning I got in there before she pooped and told her to go poop on the toilet and she did. She's gotten very good about only removing clothing when she needs to use the bathroom, which is a nice signal to have. The drawback to the current change is she didn't nap today. I was at a doctors appointment during nap time and Nathan was home, so that didn't help much because he was trying to work and not expecting to have to fight a toddler over her nap. But we'll work on nap time more tomorrow. Oh, and she's been staying dry during nap time now too! Yay! So we're pretty much down to one diaper a day.
