The first squash!
We've gotten five or six of each zucchinis, yellow squash and cumbers so far
Our dill has done really well and we've been enjoying that for pickles!
We have two zucchini that could be picked but the kids are waiting hoping they'll grow super big
We have tons of tomatoes and can't wait until they are ripe!
My broccoli in general did not do so well, but this one headed so I am excited! Most of the others just grew huge shots without heads.
Our sunflowers had a rough start with the deer eating them, but most of them have recovered
We only had one cucumber plant that survived, but it is taking over the garden now :-) We also had over 100 marigold blooms yesterday (the kids counted)
The kids started their own garden in a dirt planter that was being used for a sandbox last year and it's done really well. They have peas, lettuce and watermelon. They had a pumpkin sprout too, but it had an unfortunate encounter with a person. (I did not have any watermelon or pumpkins come up, but we tried.)
Peas! (Hannah's)
Lettuce (Evie's)
I had lettuce in the big garden that did super well and we enjoyed.
Watermelon! (Kaleb's)
