Bartholomew's Cobble

Saturday we went hiking with my aunt and uncle up in Massachusetts in the Berkshire mountains. Bartholomew's Cobble was a perfect place for the kids with short trails and fun things to explore.  It was also only an hour away, which was a nice bonus :-)
 Our arrival.
The kids were eager to take the backpacks. That didn't last long, but that's okay.
Exploring the cave! It was perfect kid size.
An almost group shot :-)
Which way to go? Nathan and my uncle determining the best route!
Damen, working on climbing the boulder.
And he made it!
Evie managed to find her way up as well!
While Evie and Damen were on top of the boulder, I found this on the side of it. What is it you ask? It's a millipede!
A closer look! Isn't it cool?
This totally looks like fossilized tree to me.
Cute kids!
My guys having fun on a tree!
On top of a boulder with Uncle Mike!
Another cave to explore!
Taking a break in the cool shade.
After the hike we hung out and had a picnic and let the kids play with the cameras.
There were a lot of good shots
It's me!
And a lot of lower body shots :-)
And some really interesting shots, almost as interesting as this water bottle.
Smile!

Piggy back ride from Aunt Pris!
Playing in the rain! The girls, Nathan and Uncle Mike went on a tour of the Ashley house, while the boys, Aunt Pris and I played outside. It started to rain and we took shelter in the barn, at least some of us took shelter :-)
Selfie with Kaleb!
An artist painting the beautiful scenic view!
