Official landing site #26

They say you learn something new everyday. Well today we learned that the park right behind our house is official landing site number 26 for the hot air balloon festival that is run out of Johnson Space Center (JSC) every year. How did we find this out you ask? Because a hot air balloon landed there!!! I was doing dishes and looked out the window and there was a hot air balloon practically in our back yard! It was pretty cool if I do say so myself. We took the girls out to see it and got to go up to it and have a look and watch them take it down.

They lite the burners a few times and used them to lift the balloon to move it so they would have room to bring it down
