Fishing!

The last Wednesday in July the youth group got to go to an old quarry that has been filled with water and fish. They invited the church along, we were the only non-youth group people who went....The owners of the quarry, who own another quarry in the area provide the poles and everything for the fishing. We were originally supposed to do a trip like this with the library, but the kids were sick at the time. The kids were super excited to go. Nathan couldn't go with us because he had a meeting that night, but we were able to manage without him. It was chaos because of the number of youth and lack of adults, but that's okay. Damen caught a whole bunch of fish at the beginning, and all the other kids caught at least one fish. There were some other younger kids there whose parents help out with youth group, so my kids had fun playing with them.

Evie went off and hung out with people and fished and collected rocks, she came back with quite a few rocks.
