Snow day fun

Saturday we got snow, about six inches or so. Today, the blizzard completely missed us....like we got maybe 3 inches of snow. We were all disappointed, Nathan did get the day off of work though, because all the roads in the state were closed :-)  But we had a good time on Saturday. My parents were in town for the weekend, so they enjoyed the snow with us.

We made some chocolate lace by melting chocolate and then dripping it over snow. 

Nathan made the kids initials with it, here's Evie with her E. We also made snow ice cream, but I didn't get a picture of that.

 Nathan finally got to use the snow blower we got in November! He was super excited :-)

The leaf blower is what was used on all the previous snow falls this year, as it was really light and dry.

Everyone enjoyed sledding!

 Because more exciting things, like a snow ball fight were going on. There is a snowball flying through the air in the middle of this picture, but it's hard to see with all the other snow :-)
