One of the requirements levied on us for our adoption was to put up a
fence to prevent a child from fall over the "cliff" we have in our yard
(it's about at 10-12 foot drop at the very edge of our yard). So last
weekend we worked on getting the "fence" up. I have it in quotes because
it really isn't a true fence, it's just some wire that goes three feet
high to prevent small children from going over the edge. Since it's all
rock we had to use the trees to tack up the wire. But it's up and our
social worker is coming Monday to check on it and finish things up with
us. Our background check by the state of Connecticut has cleared, but
for Texas we're still waiting on some things to come back. We have a
class and a half left of our online training and then I think we're set
once all the checks come back.
We had the girls out helping us....
Not only with the fence, but with the picture taking too!
These are some of the trees in our yard, aren't they big?
Someone was having fun with the camera :-)
But they took some pretty good pictures too!
