We made it to Colorado yesterday. The flight went smoothly and the girls did well. After our two and a half hour plane trip we had a two hour car ride. It took a lot of entertainment on the car ride, but we all made it to the rental house in a relatively happy mood. We got the girls some food and they loved exploring the house. There was a lot to discover. The girls were up late, and hadn't had a nap. We decided to try putting Evie in a normal bed instead of the pack 'n play. She was asleep in less than five minutes! She napped there today as well and seems to be staying in it right now, as I just put her down for bed. We never ended up taking the crib rail off her crib after she climbed out of it once because she hasn't done it again. I wasn't sure how'd she do in a normal bed, but if she goes to sleep tonight that was way too easy. In other Evie news, she pooped in the potty this afternoon and was almost completely dry all afternoon and did great peeping in the potty! Good stuff.
Update - as I was writing this Debbie was upstairs and apparently Evie was opening and closing the door, so much for thinking she was staying in bed :-) Oh well, it was a nice thought.
