Fall Festival

On September 25th our church had a Fall Festival. Complete with barrel train rides, buggy rides, canoe and kayak races and lots of other things. Hannah, Damen and Kaleb spent a LOT of time with the horses, they were even given a chance to take the reins. I don't have any pictures of that, because I was down watching the boat races. Which Nathan participated in and had Evie along for the ride. Their canoe tipped, Evie managed to get into the canoe that hit them without even getting her top half wet. Nathan and the other person in the canoe went down and were brought back by the motor boat.

There are the horses! Okay, so you can only sort of see them, but that's the only picture I have :-) 

Damen and Kaleb are in the red car, and Evie is in the blue one behind them. 

The boys are in the last car this time around. 

Here is Nathan, Evie and another person from church in their canoe. 

Here's Evie in the front of the canoe that hit them, as you can see they were having trouble steering the canoe, they didn't actually tip Nathan until the third time they hit him. 

Not too sad about having to be towed back. 

We all had a lot of fun, it was an absolutely beautiful day and there was a really good turn out for the event. Everyone is looking forward to it again next year!
