Nathan and I have a thing for Slurpees. We're big slurpee fans. When we were first married and Nathan was still in school we had a 7-11 about a mile from our house that we would walk to. We had to implement a slurpee budget because we were going way to often. Anyway, we moved to Houston and then Connecticut and there was not a 7-11 near by. In Connecticut there was one by the main campus of our church, about 20 minutes away, but we never went there just to get a slurpee, if it was hot and we were near there we'd get them, but that was like twice the entire time we lived there. Now we have a 7-11 about two miles from our house. We made a deal with the kids that we'd get slurpees any time it was 90 degrees or above. Tuesday and Wednesday this week were both in the 90s, that and 7/11 which means free slurpees was on Monday, so the kids had slurpees three days in a row. They enjoyed it!

Here's the gang with their slurpees, yes, we make the boys and girls share one, except on free slurpee day. The girls had a friend over, so we brought her along and Nathan took a slurpee break and met us there.
Aren't they cute?
Chilling for a few minutes before heading back to work
Starting to get blue tongues!
