Penguins

Evie's birthday was last week. She wanted to have a cupcake party. We have a book of fancy cupcakes that she's been looking at for months! I was not up for doing complex cupcakes with the number of people she wanted to do it with, so I made her a deal. We'd make the cupcakes with just us and she could bring them to AWANA since her birthday was on an AWANA day. Evie being a super agreeable child was okay with that. So we made some penguins.
We did happen to have one person over at the time of the decorating, so that worked out well, because Evie did get a friend to do it with along with her sister! Here they are stacking doughnuts on top of cupcakes and then doughnut holes on top of those!
Focusing on the task at hand. Like the dress?
Doughnut cupcake stacks! These were then frozen.
They were then dipped in warmed frosting, and carefully decorated!
They all enjoyed putting the features on
I think they turned out amazing! Evie put the organ mohawk on that one in the middle. They one towards the front is crying, they gave them all a little different personally. It was great! All the kids at AWANA enjoyed them.
Damen took this picture of the pan full of them. We made 24 of them!
