The Trip to Connecticut - Stop 1

We left Houston Thursday, February 23rd, after home group. That would be about 10 pm, for those of you not knowing our daily schedule. We drove just under two hours and stopped at a hotel for the night. That was not a food experience, as Nathan unloaded the car while I waited with the sleeping girls for the room to be ready, well I got to the room and found it was a smoking room, so we had to move everything to a new room, so we didn't end up getting to sleep until almost 2 am, not really the way we wanted to start the trip, but it worked. We had breakfast at the hotel and headed out for the long drive to the Atlanta area. We made it to Atlanta before midnight! We spent the next several days with Nathan's parents. We did lots of fun things like going to the park.

The park was great fun after spending all day in the car!

It was fun to climb!

And roll down hills :-)
And after church on Sunday Grandma made cotton candy for everyone!
 Yum!!!!

We went for a walk in the woods behind their house.
The girls loved trumping through the leaves!
On Monday while Nathan and I did paper work the girls got to go to the aquarium with Grandma and Grandad. They had a blast and are still talking about it!

Thanks for all the fun Grandma and Grandad!!!!!

  1. LOVE the aquarium photos! And the one of Hannah with cotton candy streaming out of her mouth. That's a keeper.
