Today the kids were outside for about six hours (the above picture is from Sunday), pretty much straight, including lunch outside. They both skipped nap, as we had friends over, so I didn't even attempt to nap Hannah and my attempt with Evie failed miserably. The outside time, however made for a good day, as they both just love being outside. The girls outlast all their friends in outdoor play. Their friends for some reason only like a couple hours outside. Ally, who was over today even went inside and read a bit on her own while Hannah and Evie stayed outside and played. Evie went to bed at 7 with hardly a peep. Nice weather makes for content girls, even if it's just playing in our back yard :-) And it makes for an easy job for Mommy, as I can sit outside with a book or magazine and enjoy the beautiful weather! Who could ask for a better job than that?
